Butterfly Conservation in collaboration with CEH have produced a new app
for iPhone and Android smartphones called iRecord Butterflies that makes it
nice and easy to record butterflies in the field. Read the full story here:

http://cehsciencenews.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/new-irecord-butterflies-app-available.html

What's extra-handy about this application is that if you already have an
iRecord account, the records you make using the app will seamlessly link in
with your iRecord account. This will enable you to take records in the
field, then view them on your computer in iRecord automatically. Magic.

Android version:

iPhone version:
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/irecord-butterflies/id815539116?mt=8
iRecord: http://www.brc.ac.uk/irecord/

There is also a very handy iRecord Butterfies info centre which summarises
the data gathered so far: http://www.brc.ac.uk/irecord/butterfly-app-summary

Enjoy!
